Ordering Official Transcripts

The Southern Baptist Theological Seminary has partnered with Parchment to process official transcript orders for the institution. This partnership allows for a faster response in processing transcripts requests.

To protect student privacy, all requests will be authenticated through the ordering process.

Official Transcripts & Parchment FAQs

To request an official copy of your transcript, enter and create a Parchment account and submit payment on Parchment.

Each official transcript order includes all Boyce College/SBTS Seminary academic transcripts for undergraduate, masters, and doctoral (if applicable).

Electronic Copy: The basic fee for an official electronic transcript is $6.00 for each transcript request.

Paper Copy: If you are requesting a paper official transcript, additional postage and printing and handling fees will apply.

We no longer offer in-office official transcript pick-up. All official transcript orders must be placed online through Parchment.

Payment can be made by credit card through online ordering.  Payment must be received before any transcripts will be sent.

As long as there are no outstanding financial balances including Accounting, Library, and Campus Police holds, transcripts are processed every business day.

Parchment offers expediting services with FedEx for students upon request during the transcript request process. Additional fees will be apply for expedited delivery service.

Students with financial/accounting holds, including account balances, library fines, and campus police fines will prevent the processing of your request.

Students with any of these holds will receive an email telling them how to resolve the hold, so their transcript may be processed.

Student with transcripts older than 1978 may take up to 14 business days for processing. 

If you need the most recent semester grades or a degree conferral date to be posted to your transcript before it is sent, please select the following options before submitting your Parchment request.

Hold for Grades – if you want your transcript with the most recent semester grades

Hold for Degree – if you want your transcript with your degree conferral date

You can check your My.SBTS transcript for grades and contact Academic Records to check on degree conferral.

The Parchment transcript request process allows students to attach documents to their transcript orders.

 

No, transcripts submitted to Boyce College/SBTS during the admission process from other institutions cannot be released. You must contact the other institution  to request your official transcript from them directly.
