Assistance for Students with Disabilities

Disability Services

The Southern Baptist Theological Seminary and Boyce College are committed to the admission of all qualified students without regard to disability. We further commit to providing resources to render the academic programs and support services accessible to all students. We provide reasonable accommodations to help facilitate academic success.  Students with documented physical or learning disabilities may receive assistance and support from our office. Services are available for students with documented disabilities on a case-by-case basis according to individual needs.

Requests should be made to the advisor for Disability Services and must be accompanied by documentation of the student’s disability, including suggested accommodations, completed by an appropriate professional.  NOTE:  The school does not provide diagnoses of learning disabilities, learning differences or educational therapies.

Services are provided on an individual basis according to documentation provided by the student, tailored to individual needs, and may include:

Accommodation requests not on the list must be discussed with and approved by the Disability Services advisor, who will provide an  Accommodation Agreement which must be signed by the student.
